Carol Van Drie is a writer, artist and wife of a retired Army Officer. She has written a novel and collaborated on two books as well as numerous features and articles for newspapers and regional magazines across the country. The local arts council chose Carol as one of the year’s upcoming artists and gave her a month-long show for her needle felting creations. Most recently she has taken on watercolor as her favorite way of expression.

Another project of her heart is the time she spends as the artist for Ladies Of The Class (LOC) USMA 1977. She volunteers her time for this organization that has an outreach for the widows of soldiers who have fought their last battle here on earth. Carol considers this to be one of the greatest honors of her life to have been asked to be a member of this marvelous group of women.

She and her husband, Cornish Rex kitty Anna and Yorkshire Terrier Levi now live in Michigan, where she continues to write, paint as well as visit with her grandchildren and plan trips in their RV.
