It all started with a book. The school librarian pulled me aside and showed me “Lord of the Rings.” I was only seven years old. After devouring Tolkien’s trilogy I read “Gone With the Wind” in four days. Thus began my journey with reading. Like a living thing for me in that it was a tangible presence in my life. I believe it opened the right side of my brain and in turn, opened a direct portal to writing which is what I have been doing since childhood. Then indirectly, very late in life, needle felting and painting with watercolor and oils have come into my world as another means of expressing myself. I am hoping to incorporate all of it into RVing around this amazing country with our little rescue Yorkie Levi and my amazing, God-given husband Mark whom I am still madly in love with.
